John "Bob" Hiltonen

NAPLES, FL- formerly of Cape Elizabeth, ME and Danvers, MA, John R. “Bob” Hiltonen, 71, passed away on June 6, 2014. He was the husband of Sharon (MacLeod) Hiltonen with whom he shared 28 years of marriage.
Born in Lynn on March 21, 1943, he was the son of the late John and Loretta (Carney) Hiltonen. He was raised and educated in Danvers, and graduated from Danvers High in 1961. Bob resided in Cape Elizabeth and Falmouth, Maine for twenty years. He had been employed as a sales director for National Cash Register. Bob retired to Naples, Florida, where he worked in real estate for Coldwell Banker. Bob was a sports fan, especially for the New England teams.
Besides his wife, Sharon, he is survived by his son, Scott Hiltonen and his wife Beth of St. Johns, FL, his step-son, Rick Rogers and his wife Tracey of Davenport, IA. He has six grandchildren, Parker and Colleen Hiltonen, as well as Michelle, Savannah, Kaitlyn and Sarah Rogers. He is also survived by his sister, Cheryl Colt of Peabody, MA and his brother Bruce Hiltonen of Beverly, MA, along with five nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours are Thursday, June 12, 2014 from 4-8PM at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers. All other services are private.
