John C. "Jack" Collins

DANVERS- John C. “Jack” Collins, 81, passed away in his home with his family by his side on April 21, 2023. He was the husband of Annette (Bombardier) Collins with whom he shared 59 years of marriage.
Born in North Adams on February 4, 1942, he was the son of the late Bernard and Beatrice (Fournier) Collins. Jack was raised and educated in North Adams and moved to Danvers in 1966. He had been employed as a systems analyst for Sylvania and Gorton’s before starting his own business, Computer East, Inc. Jack loved music and played the guitar and piano. He also was fascinated by astrology.
In addition to his wife, Annette, he is survived by five children, Colette Poirier of Beverly, John Collins and his wife Allison of Hamilton, Bonnie Allen of Danvers, Chris Collins and his wife Alison of San Francisco, CA and Craig Collins and his wife Montserrat of Cardedeu, Spain, his sister Mary Sanders of Hinsdale, twelve grandchildren, Jolie Dwyer and her husband, Mac, Angèle, Geneviève, Meghan, Lauren, Emily, Josie, Sofia, Gemma, Blai, Mar and Anouk, his niece Amanda Kmetz and her husband Richard, brother-in-law Ernest Bombardier and his wife Judith and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 4, 2023 from 4-7PM at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers. All other services are private.
