So sorry for your loss 🙏🙏
Dear Fay and Kim, I am so sorry for your loss. I hadn’t seen John in so many years but I remember, so clearly, the time he saved my grade in my middle school science class. I had researched solar power for a project but had two left thumbs when it came to building anything. He showed up at our apartment with his toolkit and supplies and put together this awesome gizmo out of wood, solar panels, and plastic. When you placed it under the light, the plastic wheelie would turn. My teacher was very impressed and I thought ‘man, I really owe my godfather big time!’ I was sad to hear about his health challenges and am grateful that he is no longer suffering. Sending you lots of love from across the country and a big hug.
Thank you Tina, I never heard this story before. John was very resourceful & creative. Thanks for sharing.
