We were saddened to hear about Joe’s passing. We remember him as a neighbor who was always willing to help when asked. Put thoughts and prayers are with all you at this difficult time. May you always have your memories to carry you through the tough times. Joyce, Roger and Kim Talbot
When I think of Joe, I always smile. His rugged outside encased a warm and loving heart. Whenever myself, Gail and Elzunia (all his ex sisters in laws ) went out as the “Outlaws”, he was always the first to comment on Facebook. When we would take the picture, we always thought, ” Hope Joe likes it!” Words seem inadequate to express how sad my heart feels. My prayers are with his children, mother and family,as I know how much he valued and loved them all. Joe, The Outlaws will never forget you, and you will always hold a place in my heart!
Ashley, Olivia & Joe: I am so sad of the loss of your Dad. My thoughts and prayers go out to each of you. I have fond memories of Joe when Amanda and Rissa were little he was always so much fun and they truly enjoyed him. I haven’t seen him in years but he always stayed in touch thru face book. I’m sorry I won’t be able to attend the services but please know my door is always open for you for whatever you might need. May your heart heal with the memories you have of your Dad. Love, Auntie Gail
So sad to hear of the passing of Uncle Joe, sending my love and prayers to Ashley Joseph and Olivia
Ashley, Olivia & Joseph: My heart breaks for all of you and I wanted you to know I’m thinking of you and hoping the memories of your Dad will help heal your broken hearts. Always carry his words of wisdom, his love for you and all the things he taught you with you forever. Auntie Gail (again)
Uncle Joe,
In all the years you let me terrorize your NH house or make your Middleton basement a toy-warzone with Ashley, Olivia and Joseph–I don’t think I ever heard you so much as raise your voice.
As a child I constantly gravitated towards this deep sense of warmth and calm that radiated through you. You always made me feel so safe. Quieted. Loved. And you did all this without even really meaning to. It was just who you were–kind, gentle, and teeming with love for your family.
However tragic and untimely your passing, there was so much to hang your hat on. A real fullness to your life. The way you spoke of your children, it was clear you saw it too: you felt they gave you purpose, made your days rich, filled you with the kind of overwhelming pride and joy and love that most people only grasp at. They were everything, and they were enough. What more can any of us ask for? Congratulations, on a beautiful life.
You will live on in our hearts as a special person. You’ll be truly missed. Ashley, Olivia, and Joseph – my heart goes out to you. These next few months require so much strength–an unfair amount of strength–and I hope you feel supported and loved through it all.
Love,
Lindsey
I’m shocked and saddened to hear of Joe’s passing.
I had reconnected with Joe last year on Facebook… after almost 50 years.
We reminisced about our high school days.
Our years in high school were just like American Graffiti.
The cars, the music, even the burger stand (Duchess Hamburger on Route 1).
Steve Osgood, Johnny Kostyla, Jerry Trefry, Wayne.
We had some good parties at my house on Dayton St.
I was waiting for our 50th class reunion next year to catch up on the last 50 years.
Joe, you were always the handsome, cool guy.
My deepest condolences to all his friends and family.
