Josephine T. (Lentini) Copello

91, passed away at the Kaplan Family Hospice House. She was the wife of the late Francis W. Copello with whom she shared 60 years of marriage. Born in Boston on Sept. 16, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Casper and Mary (DeAmecis) Lentini. She was raised and educated in South Boston. Mrs. Copello resided in Chelsea for much of her life prior to retiring in Danvers. She had been employed for over 20 years as the Senior Bookkeeper at the Soldiers Home in Chelsea. Mrs. Copello and her family enjoyed many summers at their cottage in Alton Bay, New Hampshire. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, William and Sharon Copello of Danvers and three sisters, Mary DeChristofero of Bourne, Ann Thompson of Waltham and Frances Noto of S. Boston. She was predeceased by a sister and three brothers. A Funeral Service will be held at 10AM on Fri., Oct. 30, 2009 at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. Vst. Hrs are Thurs. from 4-8PM at C.R. Lyons & Sons, 28 Elm St., Danvers. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in her name to St. Jude Children’s Hosp., PO Box 1893, Memphis, TN, 38101.
