June Hope "Junie" (Cloutier) Gibson

June Hope “Junie” (Cloutier) Gibson, 79, passed away on January 14, 2014 in Beverly Hospital. Born in Peabody on February 1, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Bertha (Johnson) Cloutier. She was raised and educated in Danvers and graduated from Holten High School in 1952. She also attended the former North Shore Children’s Hospital School in Salem, graduating in 1954. She earned a degree in pediatric nursing. She had been employed with N.S. Children’s Hospital and Pediatrics Association, both in Salem. She also served our country with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged. She is survived by her sister, Brenda Cloutier and her daughter-in-law, Darlene Gibson, both of Danvers. She was predeceased by her beloved son Rick Gibson, just two months prior. She and her son, Rick, will be missed by many dear friends. Her funeral services are private. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made in June’s name to a charity of one’s choice.
I am so sorry for your loss! I had the priviledge of working with June at NSCH in the 1980’s and I learned a lot from her. I was just thinking of June the other day! Please accept my condolences.
