  1. When we first moved to Huron Ave in 1976, Mrs Anderson was the first person to welcome us to the neighborhood by gifting us with a cake, on behalf of the Carbone Family please accept our condolences on her passing.

  2. Kay and I met in the fall of 1988 when we were freshmen at Seminary. Kay was a gifted writer and photographer. She produced many little booklets of her thoughts. This is one ‘sample’.
    *** THE RED GINGHAM APRON***
    The little red gingham apron,
    I made with love to
    protect five little girls:
    My daughter and
    granddaughters,
    Two generations of homemakers
    in the kitchen, protected with
    joy while baking gingerbread
    boys or coloring Easter eggs,
or doing whatever one does in
    the heart of the home….
    providing nourishment for
    the family of boys
    girls..men.. women.
Would that we could as easily
    protect ourselves from the
rest of life’s spills by putting
on a little red apron when we
go out into the world.
Thank you John, for opening up your home, the Laughing Place and your family these past many years, never to be forgotten.
