Kay L. Cooper, 63, died Saturday evening, September 5, 2009 following a lengthy illness. Born in Wisconsin on April 27, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Alvin and Louise (Mueller) Cooper. She was raised and educated in Wisconsin and lived there most of her life until relocating to Massachusetts in 1995. Kay earned an MBA from Endicott College and went on to teach there in the Hospitality Department. A devoted mother, she was a deeply spiritual woman. She is survived by two daughters, Tamaya Oldenhoff of Germantown, WI, and Tanya Oldenhoff and her fiancé Ed Hinchey of Brookline, two sisters, Elaine Chambers of Texas and Dolores Lillge of WI, and a brother, Larry Cooper of Mich. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday evening, September 8, 2009 at 8:00p.m. in C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours will precede the service from 6-8p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Kay’s memory may be made to Hospice of the North Shore, 75 Sylvan St., Danvers, MA 01923.
