Kevin F. Bobrek

kevin bobrek
SALEM, MA – Kevin F. Bobrek, 57, of Salem (formerly of Lynn) died suddenly at home of heart failure. Kevin was born and raised in Lynn attending St. Pius. He graduated Bishop Fenwick class of 1982 before heading to the West Coast and graduating from the University of California, San Diego. After a short stint at Fidelity, Kevin started his own landscaping business, Cheapscapes, along with his best friend, Gerry Boucher. After Gerry moved to Maine, Kevin sold off the landscaping side and concentrated on Cheapscapes Tree Service. Kevin touched the lives of many, customers and friends alike, and was known for his compassion, kindness, and friendly conversation. He had the kindest sole and only disliked those who didn’t treat others kindly. An avid learner, Kevin became fluent in American Sign Language and loved to practice his skills with the Walmart Danvers staff – his favorite store. Kevin is predeceased by his parents, Fred T. and Mary (Richards) Bobrek. He is survived by his devoted sister and brother-in-law, Karen (Bobrek) and Steven Roy of Danvers and his brother, Fred Bobrek, Jr. Though he may not have said it to them, he was extremely proud of his nieces and nephew, Christine Roy, Michele (Roy) Hickey, Lauren (Bobrek) Bergeron and John Bobrek and all they’ve accomplished – he adored you all and all that you’ve become! Visiting hours are 9-11AM on Saturday, November 5, 2022, followed by a service at 11AM in C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Annunciation Cemetery, Hobart Street, Danvers. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Kevin’s name to the Beverly School for the Deaf, 6 Echo Drive, Beverly, MA 01905 – an organization dear to Kevin’s heart.
