L. June (Douglas) (Drew) Lord, 76, died at home on Monday, September 30, 2013. She was the wife of the late David Lord and the late Laurence C. Drew. Born in Waltham on June 17, 1937, she was the daughter of the late George and Barbara (Thurlow) Douglas. She was raised and educated in Waltham and was a graduate of Waltham High School and the Chandler School for Women. Until the time of her retirement, June was employed at Savin Corp and Ricoh as a service technician and dispatcher. A longtime Danvers resident, she loved traveling and at one time earned her pilot’s license. She enjoyed boating and waterskiing, snowmobiling, knitting, and scrapbooking. She is survived by her children, Valerie Dellea and her husband Bernard of Amesbury and Mark Drew and his wife Denise of Danvers, her grandchildren, Ian and James Dellea and Nicholas, Ryan, and Justin Drew, two great-grandchildren, Samuel and Sullivan, two sisters, Barbara “Lee” Carmel of Danvers and Nancy “Poppy” Perri of Florida, and many nieces and nephews. Her Funeral Service will be Friday, October 4 at 9:30AM in C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. Relatives and friends are invited. Burial will be private and there are no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701 or Hospice of the North Shore, 75 Sylvan St., Danvers, MA 01923.
You were loved while you were here, that will not change now that you are gone. You will be sadly missed, but remembered with joy. Be at peace, and know that you live on in our hearts.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this difficult time. The angels in heaven just got a fabulous new member to the club. May her new life be a wonderful as it was here on this earth. She was so blessed to have such an amazing family and circle of friends. God bless.
