Laura H. Brown

Laura H. Brown, 74, of Peabody, died Friday, November 13, 2015 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Richard A. Brown, with whom she shared thirty years of marriage. Born in Boston on May 16, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Leroy and Barbara (Lemerise) Whippen. She was raised and educated in Peabody and attended Sieglits High School. Laura enjoyed spending time with her family and was a fan of golf and football, especially the Patriots. In addition to her husband, she leaves two sons, Gregory George and his wife Darlene and Lee Hardenbrook, all of Peabody, a sister, Patricia Armitage and her husband Lloyd of Epping, NH, a brother, Roy Whippen and his wife Linda of Greenfield, ME, and a grandson, Brandon George. Her Funeral Service will be Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at 11AM in C.R. Lyons & Sons Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. Burial will follow in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody. Relatives and friends are invited. Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 10AM.
