Leonne M. Provencher

Leonne M. (Theriault) Provencher, 95, died peacefully on April 9, 2023 following an extended illness. Born in Salem on February 29, 1928, she was the daughter of the late August and Emma (Gagne) Theriault. She was raised and educated in Salem and was a graduate of Saint Joseph Academy. Leonne had resided in both Danvers and Peabody prior to her illness. She leaves four children, Donald Provencher, David Provencher, Suzanne Gallant, and Michael Provencher, five grandchildren, Michael, Angela, Christine, Amanda, and Kayla, seven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Robert, Anita, Lucille, Rita, and William, and her former husband, Albert Provencher. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, May 8, 2023 at 10:00AM in Saint Mary of the Annunciation Church, 24 Conant St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Saint Mary Cemetery, Salem. Relatives and friends are invited. As requested, there are no visiting hours.
