Lillian M. Pivacek
February 3, 1929 ~ October 20, 2023
Lillian M. (Reali) Pivacek, 94, died peacefully at her Danvers home on Friday evening, October 20, 2023. She was the wife of the late John L. Pivacek, who predeceased her in 2002.
Born in Schenectady, New York on February 3, 1929, Lillian was the daughter of the late Edward and Vincenza (Paniccia) Reali. She was raised and educated in New York and was a longtime resident of Lynn.
A registered nurse, Lillian was employed at several area hospitals, nursing homes and rehab centers, as well as serving as a private duty nurse. Her primary vocation, however, was that of a mother. The biggest joy in her life was the love she gave to her children, and the love she received from them in return. She adored her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Devoted to her faith, she was a longtime parishioner of Saint Mary’s Church in Lynn and more recently of Saint Richard’s Church in Danvers.
She leaves her children, Michele, Susan, Lynne, Michael, John, Stephe, and Sandy; fourteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and her brother Louis Reali of NY. She was predeceased by her siblings David and Anna Reali.
Her Funeral Mass was celebrated privately at Saint Richard’s Church, Danvers. Burial followed in Annunciation Cemetery, Danvers. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Pine Street Inn, 444 Harrison Ave., Boston, MA 02118 or a food pantry of your choice. Arrangements by C.R.
