Linda A. (Fowle) Carson

Linda A. (Fowle) Carson, 64, passed away surrounded by her family on August 23, 2011 in her home. She was the wife of the late Fred Carson. Born in Winthrop on June 7, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Leslie L. and Margarite (Carroll) Fowle. Linda graduated from Boston University with a Bachelor’s degree. She had resided in Middleton for over twenty years prior to moving to Danvers. Linda had been employed as a habilitation coordinator for the Department of Developmental Services, formerly Hogan Regional Center. She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Maureen Mason Dora and Ben Dora of Danvers and Marilyn Mason of Woburn, a sister Laura Boardman and her husband Dennis of Danvers, five grandsons, Matthew, Benjamin and Tyler Dora and Alex and Erik Longo, two nephew, Kevin and C.J. Boardman and a niece Andrea Boardman all of Danvers. She was predeceased by her brother Larry Fowle. Funeral services are private at the request of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Northeast ARC, 64 Holten St., Danvers, MA. 01923.

Linda was a kind and caring person. I have known her for several years through our work at Hogan Regional Center. When she retired 10 months ago I thought it was the beginning of her life. She will be missed by the many lives she touched in her life time!

I worked with Linda for many years. I will always remember the fun her and I had as well as the folks we supported. I and her collegues will remember her smile and heart.
