  5. I want to let you all know – the whole Douglass family and extended family – that you are all in our thoughts and prayers and are so sad at your loss. Doug and I wish we could be with you this afternoon to tell you this in person and give you all hugs – but Doug will be on a plane, and I have strep throat and I’m still contagious. So, this will have to do. I love all of you, and the memories I have of each one of you goes back years and years. Bob has left such a wonderful legacy in you, his wonderful family. Our sincere sympathy (and hugs) to all of you! Dawn-Marie, Doug, and Ryan Wetherbee

  6. To the Douglass clan. I know I speak for all the Webbs when I say Bob was a good man. As kids we have fond memories of him coming to 10 Purchase St. and complaining (in his humorous way) to my mother about the fact that he should never have sold her a Maytag washer & dryer. She would do up to 7 loads of laundry a day & all he could ever sell her was new belts! As I grew older he would always tell that story to groups we found ourselves sharing ending the story with that trademark laugh of his. We will always remember Bob with a perpetual smile on his face; a man who, together with Bobbi, raised a wonderful family, (well with the exception of John…only kidding)! His legacy of loyalty to his family and his community is one to be honored and forever remembered. The good news for us…a little piece of Bob will always live on through each member of his family! Love to all of you.

  7. Dear Bobbie and famuily you are in our prayers and thoughts at this time as always. Made the LORD our God keep you in his care and loving arms,so as you may find peace and serenity in your loved ones passing. Sincerely, Betty & Al Correia

  8. To the Douglass Family, I very sorry about your your father. He was a wonderful man whom I had the pleasure to know from Danvers Shell. I still remain a customer and saw him about five years ago in the store. You have my heartfelt sympathies. Sincerely, Carol Carter
