Lorraine F. Washburne

DANVERS- Lorraine F. Washburne passed away on January 18, 2015 in the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers. She was the wife of the late Charles E. Washburne of Swampscott. She was raised and educated in Schenectady, New York. Lorraine graduated from Endicott College, where she majored in photography. She had been employed with General Electric prior to becoming a supervisor with Polaroid Corporation. She enjoyed the outdoors, especially skiing and golfing as well as bowling. She is survived by her sister, Marilyn Sears of Danvers, her nephew, William Sears and his wife Lisa of Maryland, three great nephews, Cody Sears of California and Joseph and Andrew Sears of Maryland, her niece-in-law, Diane Sears of New Hampshire, three great nieces, Jessica Sears and Shana Stubbs of South Carolina and Audra Sears of Wenham, and her dear friend Albie Marrs of Salem. She was predeceased by her nephew Steven Sears. Her Funeral Service will be held at 11AM on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers.
