Lorraine M. Fanning

Lorraine M. (McLaughlin) Fanning, 74, of Beverly, died May 2, 2020 at Beverly Hospital from COVID-19 just ten days before her 75th birthday. She was the loving wife of Harry Fanning.
Born in Beverly on May 12, 1945, she was the daughter of the late James and Sophie (McLaughlin) Fanning. She was raised and educated in Danvers and was a graduate of Danvers High School.
Lorraine was employed for many years at both Jordan Marsh and Sylvania. She was also self-employed for several years until the time of her retirement. She was a member of the Beverly Elks.
Although she had no children of her own, she leaves husband’s son and daughter-in-law, Barry and Lori Fanning, four grandchildren, a great-granddaughter, and her siblings Donald McLaughlin and his wife Janet and Janice Pelletier and her husband Richard.
Due to the current restrictions on gatherings, services are private.
