To the Varadi family, I lived across the street from your family for 11 years (1956-1967), on Rowell Road and I remember you all fondly. The last time I saw your Dad was at my Mom’s (Sandra Levine) funeral in 2002 on Cape Cod. I’ve lived in Buffalo for 30 years, and I was shocked to read the obituary today (in the Buffalo News). I had forgotten your Buffalo connection. Your Dad was a sweet guy and a hard worker in a loving home. I was so sad to read that Debra is no longer with us; she was my friend growing up, and those childhood friends make a deep impression on one’s heart. I wish you all peace at this sad time.

To the Varadi family:
I recently learned of your Dad’s passing, please accept my sincerest condolences. I grew up down the street from your family on Rowell Rd. and have fond memories of us all playing together as young kids back in the sixties. (1965-69)
I’ll always remember how inclusive and nice your Dad was to all the neighborhood kid’s. I especially recall when he would take us down to Dairy Queen on a hot summer day in that big Cadillac he had and buy us an ice cream….a great guy !
