Louise K. (Masterson) Blute, 91, died Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at home. She was the wife of the late Charles Leonard Blute with whom she shared 25 years of marriage. Born in Salem on July 21, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Alice (Driscoll) Masterson. She was raised and educated in Salem and was a graduate of Salem High School, Class of 1936. During WWII, she served in the US Navy in the WAVES. For several years, she was employed as an accountant for Craig Machine and the Village Green in Danvers. She lived in Long Island, NY and Northridge, Calif., before returning to Massachusetts. She is survived by several nieces and nephews, and was predeceased by a sister, Anna Mae Falkner, and two brothers, Edward and William Masterson. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 7, 2010 at 11AM in St. Mary of the Annunciation Church, 24 Conant St., Danvers. Visitation will precede Mass from 9:30-10:45AM in C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. As requested, burial will be private.
