Lucille K. Rost, 87, died Thursday evening, September 8, 2011. She was the loving wife of the late Edgar O. Rost. Born in Danvers on Feb. 3, 1924, she was the daughter of the late John and Rose (Drapeau) Dupray. She was raised and educated in Danvers and was a graduate of Holten High School, Class of 1943. A longtime Danvers resident who had resided in Meredith, NH for the last several years, she had been active in the Hunt Hospital Association and the Danvers Garden Club. She is survived by her children, Bradford Rost and his wife Karen of Byfield and Alison Morine and her husband John of Pennsylvania, a sister, Ruth Giles, four grandchildren, John Morine, Jennifer Karampatsos, Laurie Collins, and David Morine, and 6 great-grandchildren, Autumn, Cristian, Haley, Noah, McKenna, and Andrew. She was predeceased by three brothers, Lawrence, Martin, and Lorain. Her Funeral Service will be Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at 11AM in C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. Burial will follow in Annunciation Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours are Tuesday from 4-7PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
