WELLS, ME- formerly of Danvers, Lucy I. (LeBoeuf) Welch, 103, went home to God on February 2, 2015. She was the loving wife of the late James F. Welch. Born in Lowell on March 4, 1911, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Flora (Martin) LeBoeuf. She was raised and educated in Lowell. Lucy had resided in Danvers for 55 years, where she was a communicant of the Saint Richard Parish. She moved to Wells, Maine in 2007 to be closer to her niece, Joan. She had been employed at the former Sylvania in Danvers and Jordan Marsh in Boston. Lucy also had been employed at Putnam Pantry and was well known for her dipped cherries. She is survived by two sisters, Shirley Kennedy of NH and Vivian LeBoeuf of Danvers, a special niece, Joan McLynch of Maine and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Juliette Pellerin, Pauline LeBoeuf, Aline Portelance, Bertha Pinta, Dorothy Lavoie, Margaret Connors, Gladys Sturtevant and Raymond, Edward and Joseph LeBoeuf. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11AM on Friday February 6, 2015 in Saint Richard Parish, 90 Forest St., Danvers. Burial is private. Visiting hours are Friday 9AM-10:45AM, prior to the Mass at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made to Care Dimensions, 75 Sylvan St., Danvers, MA, 01923 or a charity of one’s choice.
