Mae Alice (Campbell) Spaneas, 91, passed away on May 24, 2013 in Peabody Glen Nursing Home. She was the beloved wife of the late Pedro Spaneas. Born on August 4, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Joseph P. and Claire (Hussey) Campbell. She was raised and educated in Peabody. Mae had resided in both Danvers and Peabody with her husband. She enjoyed cooking, homemaking and was a wondering decorator. Mae also loved to travel, especially to Florida and New Hampshire. She is survived by her sister, Doris C. Boltas of Peabody, her nieces Cindy Pulver and her husband John of Maine, Jeri Markarian and her husband Steve of Peabody, Susan Morin of Danvers and Sandy Gagnon of Salem, her nephew Joe Campbell of Middleton and the Kardaris and Spaneas Families. . She was predeceased by her brother Phillip J. Campbell. Her Funeral Service will be celebrated at 11AM on Wednesday, May 29, 2013. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Salem. Visiting hours are prior to her service Wednesday morning from 10AM-10:45AM at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers.
