Margaret (Firth) Maribito

Margaret M. “Peggy” Maribito, 94, passed away on June 7, 2014 in Kaplan Family Hospice House. She was the wife of the late Alfred S. Maribito, with whom she shared 48 years of marriage.
Born in Nova Scotia, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Anna (Pettitpar) Firth. She was raised and educated in East Boston. Peggy had resided in Danvers for over 50 years. She had been employed at the former Ideal Baby Shoe Factory and CBS Hytron prior to working at Hotwatt. Upon retiring, Peggy and her husband moved to West Palm Bay in Florida. They spent 22 years in Florida before returning to Danvers in 2005.
She is survived by four daughters and sons-in-law, Valerie and Kenneth Bliss of Peabody, Ellen and Raymond Allain of Maine, Laureen and Paul Moore of Danvers and Rosemarie and Frank Anastosopoulos of Lynn, her sister Anna Pettit of Michigan , eight grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by two grandsons, Jaimie Bliss and Paul Allain.
Her Funeral Service will be held at 11:30AM on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Annunciation Cemetery, Danvers. Visiting Hours are Tuesday from 5-8PM in the funeral home.
