Mary Margaret "Marie" (Crowley) Donoghue, 83, of Danvers, passed away peacefully May 2, 2011. She was the widow of John J. Donoghue whom she met while both worked at the New England Tel. Co. They were married for 48 years. A longtime Danvers resident, Marie enjoyed her family and following the Red Sox, Patriots and especially Boston College football. She is survived by her children Maryann Gauthier and her husband Mark of Georgetown, Patricia Crowley and her husband Timothy of Groveland, Eleanor Honan and her husband Michael of Danvers, John Donoghue and his wife Kathleen of Virginia, Terence Donoghue and his wife Joanne of New Hampshire; thirteen grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her great-grandson Jason Gauthier and three brothers, Thomas, John, and Michael Crowley. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, May 5, 2011 at 11AM in St. Mary of the Annunciation Church, 24 Conant St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Annunciation Cemetery, Danvers. As requested, there are no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, donations in Marie’s memory may be made to the Discalced Carmelite Nuns, 15 Mt. Carmel Rd., Danvers, MA 01923.
