She also loved to host large family gatherings for the holidays (especially Thanksgiving and Christmas).
She was a founding member and officer in the North Shore Mothers of Twins club, which she was actively involved in for 25 years. She belonged to Sweet Adelines signing group where she traveled to shows and competitions all around New England.

Marlene was such a lady !!!! A mentor in the Mothers of Twins Club. So loved and respected. A sense of humor like no other. My favorite memory was when she was “guest speaker” at a Twins Club end of year banquet and she brought out a shoebox on which she based her “speech”. It was filled with all the handmade gifts her boys had given her over the years (pasta earrings, gimp necklaces etc). As always she brought down the house. Rest in power dear Marlene. You will never be forgotten
Marlene and Ed were our neighbors for 51 years! She was such a delight to know and Ed too. Wonderful couple. My sincere sympathy to the Duggan family.
