Martha Ann (Jervah) Chase

Martha Ann (Jervah) Chase, 74, died Tuesday, June 7, 2011 in her home. She was the beloved wife of the late Leonard Chase with whom she shared 53 years of marriage. Born in Lynn on Aug. 5, 1936, she was the daughter of the late William F. and Adelaide (Embree) Jervah. She was raised and educated in Danvers and graduated from Holten High School in 1954. Martha was employed with the former Ann & Hope and Kmart in Danvers. She also was employed as a waitress for many years at the Daniel Fuller House. She is survived by her children, Kenneth Chase of MN, William Chase and his wife Sharon of N. Andover, June Munroe and Bob Petrin of NH and Janet Parsons and her husband Thomas of Danvers, her siblings, David Jervah of Groveland, Paul Jervah of Danvers, Cynthia Landry of Wenham and Nancy Hills of NH, eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister Diana Ruth Harrison and her beloved grandson David Johnson. A Graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2011 at 11AM in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Sylvan St., Danvers. Relatives and friends are invited. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Martha’s name to Windrush Farms, 30 Brookview Rd, Boxford, MA, 01921. Arrangements are made by C.R.
