Mary S. Romanowicz

Mary (Ciarciello) Romanowicz, 95, of West Chester, PA, formerly of Danvers peacefully passed away surrounded by her family on Friday, December 30, 2022, at The Chester County Hospital. She was the loving wife of the late Albert Romanowicz, who predeceased her in 1967. Born in Topsfield, she was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Maria (Calitri) Ciarciello. Mary was raised and educated in Topsfield and was a graduate of Topsfield High School. Mary was employed for several years at both Sylvania and Hotwatt. A longtime Danvers resident, she was a communicant of Saint Richard Church. She leaves two children and a daughter-in-law, Michael Romanowicz and his wife Amalia of West Chester, PA and Patricia Romanowicz of Danvers, MA; her cherished grandchildren, William Romanowicz, and his wife Kate of Cincinnati, OH and Anastasia Romanowicz of Denver, CO; her great-grandson, Paul Romanowicz; and nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Jennie Femino, Carmela Ellsworth and Suntina Rossi. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday January 11, 2022, at 11:00AM in Saint Richard Church, 90 Forest St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Annunciation Cemetery, Danvers. There are no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary’s memory may be made to The Hickman Retirement Community at 400 North Walnut Street, West Chester, PA 19380.
