Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. My fondest memories of Maureen were her kind words and beautiful smile. This is the last time I saw her at my daughter’s wedding. It is a memory I will cherish forever. Love you Maureen

  2. This bunny you gifted Lilly was always going to be special to us, but now it’s even more so. A special memory of you to hold onto. 🩷

I will forever miss your sweet notes and the way you always made me feel “calm” in your presence. Give Dad a hug for me! Love forever and always xoxo

  3. She was the BEST. Extremely supportive of teenagers, very talented and knowlegeable about art and a proud eccentric. She exposed us to Boston’s great cultural treasures including the Gardner museum before the heist. Post AWHS she volunteered at the nursing home for the retired nuns while battling lupus. This one really hurts. RIP Mrs Parz, I’m sure you went straight up!

  4. You were loved by many and you are going to be missed by more. You had a true gift and a natural ability to put a smile on anyones face. Thank you for the talks we had you always made me feel special. You loved your family to the fullest. May the Lord Bless your family with the peace, strength and comfort they will need with your passing.
    Rest Easy Maureen ❤️👼

  5. She is truly loved and will be missed. My Fondest memory of my aunt Is no matter what wife threw at her she would always.
Somehow come up on the other end With a smile. Even though she’d be in pain she’d always Push through and never let it hold her back. She was an inspiration to all and will always be an inspiration to me! She will live on in our hearts and in our memories. She has touched so many. Thank you auntie Maureen..

  6. I didn’t know Maureen personally. Although I knew her from our cat page Feline Freaks. She was always so nice & encouraging to others. I’m SO SORRY for her & her family. A true Angel! 💕

  7. Mrs. Parziali was the best art teacher and nicest teacher I ever knew. She could handle the teens in the 70’s . We respected her and looked up to her.
    So sorry for her passing.✝️️

  8. Thank you Mrs. P for being an amazing teacher You opened up so many wonderful doors for so many of us. I still love art and museums to this day because of you. Your classroom was always an oasis to this former awkward teenager. Rest in peace. Edward Proctor-AWHS- Class of 84.

  9. She was my art teacher in high school but so much more than that to me. If it wasn’t for her caring and dedication I never would have gone to art school or become an art teacher myself. Mr. Paz, I am so very sorry to hear this and my heart breaks for you and your beautiful family. My love and condolences to all of you.❤️

  10. Heartfelt condolences to Jim and the whole family. Maureen was a wonderful teacher who touched many lives at Archies–her room was always a refuge. She taught me how to really look at things, and instilled a love of art that led me to a major in Art History. I’m glad we reconnected on FB a few years ago, she loved my cat’s antics, and I enjoyed “meeting” her grandkids through pictures–she was always so proud of them.
    May she Rest in Peace.

  11. Maureen was a dear friend early in my marriage. We traveled to Europe together but lost track of each other as we had 4 children and “life happened.” She was the most beautiful person, soft and loving. Always finding the best in everyone and every circumstance. I ended up working at N.E. Medical Center for 38 yrs. because she told me it was a “pretty good deal'” I always put a lot of confidence in anything she recommended. Even moving to Braintree because she thought it was God’s Country! She had an enormous impact on my life. She adored Lynn and Jimmy. I have thought of her so many times over the years and regretted losing contact with her. This is so sad to me. Jim, I hope that you are holding up. It is an enormous loss. My love to you and Lynn.
