He is survived by a niece, Karen Rowan of Danvers; two nephews, Kevin Lyons and his wife LeeAnn of Danvers and Brian Dunleavy and his wife Lori of Beverly; a cousin, Harlan Plante and his wife Nancy of West Peabody; and many dear friends at the Danvers Senior Center where he always had a seat at the cribbage table. He was predeceased by two sisters, Velma LeClair and Aroline Hersey, and his twin brother, Lt. Norman LeClair. His funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, Jan. 21, 2011 at 9 a.m. in St. Mary of the Annunciation Church, 24 Conant St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Annunciation Cemetery, Danvers. I will miss Norbert but I know he is in a better place. I admired his strength, positive attitude and humor. It was a pleasure to help make his last days more comfortable. My prayers are with Karen and all Norberts family, that your sadness will soon be replaced by happy memories, And that you will find comfort in knowing you gave him the most loving care a family could give him. Sincerly, Melanie Roberts
Karen, Norbie has always a bright light to all of us at the senior center. I have never met anyone like him. Always smiling, happy, and upbeat through all that he has gone through. I will miss him. My thoughts are with you and your family. Paula Corcoran Program Coordinator Danvers Senior Center
