Norma A. (Skinner) Citroni, 81, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at Beverly Hospital after being stricken at home. She was the loving wife of Roland R. Citroni, with whom she shared sixty-one years of marriage. Born in Danvers on Feb. 11, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Hollis and Myrtle Skinner. She was raised and educated in Danvers and was a graduate of Holten High School. A lifelong Danvers resident and member of the Danvers Historical Society, she had been employed for several years at Mrs. Day’s Ideal Baby Shoe Co. and Rich’s Department Store. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Holly DeAngelis and her husband Alfred of Saugus and a son, Todd Citroni of Danvers, a granddaughter, Angelina Noel Citroni, a brother, Wayne Skinner, and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Kate Southwick and Peter and Gardner Skinner. Her Funeral Service will be Monday, October 10, 2011 at 10AM in C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. Burial will follow in Annunciation Cemetery, Danvers. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours are Sunday from 3-6PM in the funeral home.
