Norma K. (Prunier) Sosnowski, 92, died peacefully on Saturday, July 1, 2023. She was the wife of the late Robert W. Sosnowski, who predeceased her in 2020. Born in Lynn on Jan. 25, 1931, she was the daughter of the late George and Nancy (Beaudry) Prunier. She was raised and educated in Lynn and was a graduate of Lynn English High School. Norma worked as a secretary for Gen. George S. Patton and continued service to the Patton family working as an assistant to Mrs. Joanne Patton. A founding member of the Danvers Art Association with her sister, Nancy, Norma was a talented painter and stained-glass artist. She was an accomplished seamstress and gardener who loved music and traveling with her husband. A Danvers resident for nearly seventy years, she and her husband were members of the Catholic Mr. & Mrs. Club and the Danvers Jaycees. Norma loved the last five years spent at Putnam Farms, and her family is grateful for the love and care she received from the staff there. She leaves three daughters and sons-in-law, Anne and Wayne Tarr of Danvers, Norma and Gene Harning of Rye, NH, and Lauren and Rick Poetz of Amesbury, five grandchildren, Daniel, Rachel, Sarah, Emily, and Benjamin, seven great-grandchildren, Kailyn, Aubrey, Ethan, Jackson, Weston, Owen, and Ella, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Mark Sosnowski, and her siblings Arthur Prunier and Nancy Granese. Her Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 7, 2023 at 11AM in C.R. Lyons & Sons Funeral Directors. Burial will follow in Annunciation Cemetery, Danvers. Relatives and friends are invited. Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 9AM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Norma’s memory may be made to the Danvers Art Association, 105 Elliott St., Danvers, MA 01923, online at www.thedanversart.org.   2. We were truly saddened when we heard about Norma. Norma and Bob were the best neighbors anyone could have ever asked for. We still miss them to this day. Norma was a wonderful woman. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this difficult time.
