Olga M. (Salkus) Morley, 91, died Tuesday morning, November 24, 2009 following a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Edward F. Morley, with whom she shared fifty-eight years of marriage. Born in Everett on Aug. 20, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Beatrice (Tracy) Morley. She was raised and educated in Everett and was a graduate of Everett High School. Mrs. Morley had been a Danvers resident for over fifty-five years. She was a homemaker who was an accomplished needle worker, sharing her beautiful handmade quilts and embroidered tablecloths with her children and grandchildren. A communicant and founding parishioner of Saint Richard Church, Mrs. Morley was a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Court Henry A. Sullivan. She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her children, Judy Mulligan and her husband Bill of Beverly and Stephen Morley and his wife Nancy of Pennsylvania, a daughter-in-law, Ruth Morley of Georgetown, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her son, Edward F. Morley, Jr., her sister Ethel Mason, and her brother Charles Salkus. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, November 28, 2009 at 9AM in Saint Richard Church, 90 Forest St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Annunciation Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours are Friday from 5-8pm in C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. Donations in Mrs. Morley’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
