Patrice Tobin

A. Patrice Tobin, 69, died Thursday, October 8, 2015 at her home in the care of her loving family. She was the wife of James M. Tobin, with whom she shared 44 years of marriage. Born on June 24, 1946 in Haverhill, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Kathleen (McCarthy) Lalumiere. She was a graduate of Saint James High School in Haverhill and Merrimack College. She was a teacher at Haverhill High School, Holy Name School in West Roxbury, and Saint Mary of the Annunciation School in Danvers. She was an avid reader and a regular participant in her book club meetings. Her most enjoyable time was spent being with family and her many friends. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Matthew Tobin of Providence, RI, her daughter, Emily Tobin of Roslindale, her brothers, Frank Lalumiere and his wife, Kathryn, of Woodbridge, VA and John Lalumiere and his wife Bonnie of Haverhill, her sisters, Andrea Barry of Kennebunk, ME and Kathleen Young and her husband Bennet of Kennebunk, ME, and several nieces and nephews. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at 9AM in Saint Richard Church, 90 Forest St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Annunciation Cemetery, Danvers. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours are Tuesday from 4-8PM in C.R. Lyons & Sons Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square.
