Patricia A. (Powers) Rogers, 92, passed away peacefully on August 18, 2024, at Putnam Farms in Danvers. Pat was born on January 22, 1932, in Lynn, to Richard J. Powers and Mary Agnes LeTarte Powers. She was a proud life-long resident of Danvers, and a graduate of Holten High School.
Pat married Richard “Dick” Rogers on September 26, 1959, and they enjoyed 65 years of marriage together. Pat worked for the Ideal Baby Shoe Company and the US Postal Service at the Hathorne Branch. She loved to work, and took great pride in it.
Pat and Dick enjoyed many adventures together. Attitash and the Cape were their ‘happy places’! The Couple’s Club was also a source of many years of friendship, and merriment. Pat loved the ocean, traveling, cooking, ballroom dancing, gardening, and volunteering at the Topsfield Fair. She enjoyed the status of ‘the favorite aunt’ with many of her nieces and nephews, their children, and their grandchildren- especially her great-grand nieces Caroline, Maggie and Grace.

Uncle Dick is my God Father. He was good friends with my Dad, Roland, and he and Aunt Pat went to school with my mom, Barbara! When Pat and Dick got married, Pat became my Aunt and my God Mother. Her kindness, her laughter, her simple goodness were part of my life for almost all of it. Some of my fondest memories are the many Christmas Eve gatherings at their house. Lots of laughter, love and really good food! As the years went on, we didn’t see each other all that often, but always with laughter and love. Rest with the Lord, Aunty Pat. I love you❤️❤️❤️
Debi, Diane, Kevin, Dan,Michael and Brendan so sorry on the passing of Aunt Pat I know she meant alot to you. She still has that wonderful bright smile just like your dad.
