E. Paul Morrissey, 77, formerly of Beverly, died Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2010 at his home after being stricken suddenly. He was the husband of Patricia (Manning) Morrissey with whom he shared 29 years of marriage. Born in Danvers, June 29, 1933, he was the son of the late Raymond and Louise (Boudrot) Morrissey. He was raised and educated in Danvers and resided in Beverly for much of his life. Paul and his wife had retired to Juniper, Florida. Paul served his country with the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War and was honorably discharged. Paul truly enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren in Massachusetts. He also enjoyed fishing and was a friend of Bill W. Besides his wife Patricia, he is survived by six children, Paula St. Amand and her husband Nicholas of Beverly, Daniel Morrissey and his wife Patricia of Rockport, Lisa Miley and her husband John of Beverly, David J. Morrissey and his wife Lisa of Beverly, Susan Gaudet of Middleton and his adopted daughter Lucinda Zazueta and her husband John CA, 14 grandchildren, Nicole, Ray, Matthew, Adam, Justine, the late Johnny, Daniel, Sara, Ryan, Megan, Hannah, Kelly, Emily and Laura and one great-granddaughter, Dakota, the mother of his children, Irene Morrissey of Peabody, two sisters, Virginia Brooks of Danvers and Barbara Hines of Florida, three brothers, Robert and his wife Claire of Florida, Kevin and his wife Norma of Maine, Neil and his wife Nancy of Arizona, two sisters-in-law, Celia Morrissey of Peabody, and Carol Morrissey of Danvers. He was the brother of the late Stanley, Marty, David, James and Richard Morrissey and Joan Enos. A Memorial service will be held at 11:30AM on Sat., Jan 8 at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers. The family will receive friends from 10AM-11:15AM prior to the service. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Bootstraps, 371 Cabot St., Beverly, MA, 01915 or Riverhouse, 56 River St., Beverly, MA, 01915.
