Paul W. Mercier

Paul W. Mercier, 75, died unexpectedly on Monday, December 29, 2014 at his home in Ipswich.
Born in Peabody on April 12, 1939, he was the son of the late William and Helen (Gruskowski) Mercier. He was raised and educated in Danvers and resided in Danvers for most of his life.
Until the time of his retirement, Paul was employed as a sheet metal fabricator at Comdel in Gloucester.
He loved racecars, and enjoyed racing motorcycles as a young man.
He leaves his wife, Gail (Newbegin) Mercier, his sons, Jay T. Mercier, of Danvers, Tyrone P. Mercier of Maine, Todd W. Mercier of Hampton, NH, and Joseph Mercier of Gloucester, two grandsons, Cameron J. Mercier and Jeremy Mercier, and two sisters, Suzan Mercier and Noel Triffleti.
Visiting hours are Sunday, January 4, 2015 from 3-5PM in C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. Relatives and friends are invited. All other services are private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
I just found out about this.
I worked for Paul as a welder at 75 Maple Street in 1978, Paul was a hell of a metal fabricator and a damn talented man.
