Paula Diane Prucknicki

DANVERS- Paula Diane (Bratt) Prucknicki, 73, passed away following a prolonged illness, on November 29, 2022, in Beverly Hospital. She was the loving wife of John A. Prucknicki, with whom she shared 31 years of marriage, but first crossed paths in 1964. Born in Newton on December 27, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Betty (Smith) Bratt, Jr. Paula was raised and educated in Lynnfield and graduated from Lynnfield High School. She earned her associates degree from Westbrook College in Maine. Paula had been an accountant for many years working for the YMCA in Marblehead and Beverly and, more recently, RWH Industries in Salem. Paula loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed summers at the family camp in NH, golfing at the Wenham Country Club and her yearly trips with her husband, John to the Divi Divi resort in Aruba. She was a talented artist, enjoyed cooking, reading and gardening. In addition to her husband, John, she is survived by two sons, Clinton Richards and his wife, Kaleigh of Reno, NV and Clifford Richards of Lake Tahoe, CA, a step-son, Robert Prucknicki of Danvers, two grandchildren, Cole M.J. and Eden Iris, four siblings, Steven Bratt (Carol) of NH, Donna Sawyer (Daniel) of VA, Carol Crowley of VA and Teresa Stapleton of MA, many nieces and nephews and her beloved late dog, Duffy. She was predeceased by her son Blake Richards. Her memorial service will be held at 11AM on June 24, 2023, at Center Harbor Memorial Park, 176 Dane Rd., Center Harbor, NH 03226.
