Peter Drown

Peter L. Drown, 40, of Beverly, died November 6, 2012. He was the beloved son of Carla (Smith) and William Drown of Danvers. Born in Beverly, he was raised and educated in Danvers where he attended St. Mary of the Annunciation School and was a graduate of Governor Dummer Academy, Class of 1990. At the time of his death, Peter had been employed at Steve’s Quality Market in Salem. He had previously worked at Christian Book Distributors in Peabody. He was an avid reader and loved hiking, walking, and music. In addition to his parents, he leaves a sister, Amber Joe and her husband Russell, a brother, Nathan Drown, all of Danvers, and his nieces and nephew, Leanne, Alyssa, and Nathan. A Memorial Service will be Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012 at 1PM in C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. Relatives and friends are invited. As requested, there are no visiting hours and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army, 93 North St., Salem, MA 01970.
