I want to send my condolences to you for your loss of Peter. I was in the hospital. so unable to attend services. I enjoyed my long and very pleasurable conversations with Peter at the book store. He was always full of information and funny stories. He knew the books that I read and gave me insight that I didn’t have. I will miss him and his wonderful sense of humor. Thank you for good days.

To Peter’s family,
Peter was such a unique guy! He kept me (and legions of others) literate all these years thanks to his wonderful bookstores and his special brand of congeniality. He was knowledgeable and passionate about so many subjects, especially military history. But undoubtedly his greatest passion was for his wife and daughters.
I will miss Peter terribly. My deepest sympathy for your loss.
