Raye R. Doucette

Raye R. (Weatherbee) (McPherson) Doucette, 85, died Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House following a brief illness surrounded by her devoted family. She was the loving wife of the late Mike Doucette, who predeceased her in 2019.
Born in Chelsea on December 28, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Mildred (Archer) Weatherbee. She was raised and educated in Chelsea and was a graduate of Chelsea High School.
A Danvers resident since 1961, Raye was employed as a waitress and bartender throughout the North Shore and served as the “Keno Lady” for more than twenty-five years at Supino’s, where she was cherished like family.
She loved the weekly poker games she hosted for more than 15 years, skiing, and bowling. She enjoyed more than twenty cruises with her late husband.
She was a member of the Branch Church in Peabody.
She leaves three children and their spouses, Cindy and William Cianfrocca of Danvers, James and Theresa McPherson of Center Ossipee, NH, and Patrick and Maria McPherson of Danvers, eight grandchildren, John McPherson, Tara Douglas, Nicholas McPherson, Jessica Trott, Emily McPherson, Jackson McPherson, James McPherson, and Jared McPherson, five great-grandchildren, Willow, Connor, Jameson, Reilly, and Penelope, a sister, Judy Buckley, as well as several nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
She was predeceased by her twin brother, Robert Weatherbee.
Her Funeral Service will be Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at 10AM in C.R. Lyons & Sons Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours are Tuesday from 4-7PM in the funeral home. Raye was always a very great and fun loving, vivacious and loving part of her extended family The 80 Burley St. Cianfrocca Gang!
