Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. To Barb and the rest of his family….my thought and prayers are with you!

So many great memories of Ray and his hijinx at AWC…..we were famous for our buckets of water, for special occassions, and for just about anything we felt we could make a special occassion…..one particular memory of a bucket was one hot summer day, I had a bucket, and he welcomed it, figuring it was going to cool him off….he didnt know I filled it with hot water…..he was so disappointed, but we sure got a laugh from it…..we lost track of each other after he left AWC, but I will never forget the devilish smile, and the twinkle in those eyes…we had a blast together….RIP Ray….you will be missed

  2. Dear Haight family,
It is so sad to read that Mr. Haught has passed away. May your memories of him as well as a hope of being reunited one day – John 5:28,29 – bring you the peace and comfort you need at this time.

  3. Ray helped with set building for the North Shore Players in Danvers many times. He was always very generous with his time, and workmanship talents. A man of good humor and positive relationships, on every occasion that I was with him. His contributions to the North Shore Players will be long remembered and appreciated.

  4. Dear Barbara,
I remember Ray from the North Shore Players, where I used to perform with my Grandmother, Gloria Spang. He was such a nice, hard working person…always there with a helping hand. Many thoughts are I with you and your family.

  5. Dear Barbara:
Ray was just such a sweetheart, and hard worker. We put together and ripped apart so many sets. I still remember directing him in Gorilla… he was the best lurch type ever, embarrassed, and cute, and funny, and shy. So hard to hear that he is no longer just there. I send hugs to your son, and you, I know you must be hurting, and you are such a trooper yourself… JUst remembering all the sets that wouldn’t have happened without him, all the lights which wouldn’t have gone on, the spotlights that wouldn’t have been working. Oh Ray… You are missed….. Love Patty and John Gutta

I am sorry that I did not meet Ray earlier in my life. In the five years that I have been a member of NSUU, I have come to know him as a kind, thoughtful and helpful man. He did so much for the church in his quiet and modest way. I will really miss seeing him.
