Richard E. Boles

Richard E. Boles, 85, died November 7, 2015 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers. He was the loving husband of Jovette (Paiement) Boles, who died in June.
Born in Montreal on May 14, 1930, he was the son of the late Claude and Elizabeth (McEndry) Boles. He was raised and educated in Montreal and immigrated with his family to the North Shore in 1968, settling first in Peabody and then in Danvers where they lived for many years. He and his late wife resided in Newburyport for the last fifteen years.
Mr. Boles was employed as a ground engineer for Aer Lingus at Logan Airport for many years until the time of his retirement. He loved airplanes and traveling all over the world.
He leaves his children and their spouses, Richard and Kathleen Boles of Merrimack, NH, Michael and Karen Boles of Danvers and Julie and Brian Richard of Danvers, five grandchildren, Holly Teece, Danielle Cross, Matthew and Lindsay Richard and Carina Boles, and three great grandchildren, Madison and Emelia Cross and Lucy Teece. He was predeceased by his sisters, Claire Ablett, Lillian Finley, Mona Keppens, and Katherine Carter.
His Funeral Service will be Saturday, November 21, 2015 at 11AM in C.R. Lyons & Sons Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Danvers. Visiting hours are Friday from 4-7PM in the funeral home. Donations in his memory may be made to the Kaplan Family Hospice House, 78 Liberty St., Danvers, MA 01923.
