Robert A. Bradstreet

Robert A. Bradstreet, 82, passed away in his home on July 28, 2011. He was the husband of Lorraine (MacKenzie) Bradstreet with whom he would have celebrated 61 years of marriage on September 9th. Born in Danvers on Nov. 26, 1928, he was the son of the late Hollis and Elma (Baker) Bradstreet. Robert was raised and educated in Danvers and graduated from Holten High School. He was employed with Sylvania Osram in inventory control for over fifty years. Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, Patrice Capozzi and her husband Albert of Beverly, Scott Bradstreet of Danvers, James Bradstreet and his wife Terri of Beverly, Lane Bradstreet and his wife Sonja of Middleton and Brenda Mourousas and her husband Christopher of FL, grandchildren, Dominic and Kimberly Capozzi, Krista Fitzgerald and Kalli Bradstreet, Amy Gray and Nick Bradstreet, Nathan and Marissa Bradstreet and Valerie and Aaron Mourousas, three great grandchildren, Giovanni Garafolo, Hannah and Shane Fitzgerald, siblings, Hollis “Buddy” Bradstreet of OR and Emily Camp of NY and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Orren Bradstreet. Visiting hours will be held on Monday, August 1, 2011 from 4PM-7PM at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers, relatives and friends are invited. Funeral services will be held privately at the request of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA, 01907 or Arthritis Foundation, 29 Crafts St #450, Newton MA 02458.

To Jimmy and family, I was sorry to hear of your father’s passing. I remember your father standing on the sidelines during the Memorial Junior High football games watching you as you practiced and played football.
