His service to the nation as a World War II veteran in the U.S. Navy was a testament to his courage and patriotism. He was also a dedicated member of the Amity Mosaic Lodge in Danvers, a past master of the Starr King Lodge A.F.& A.M. in Salem, and a member of the Aleppo Shrine, reflecting his commitment to community and brotherhood. Robert's legacy continues through his loving family. He leaves behind his children, Robert Porter, Jr. and his wife, Jean, and Barbara Horne and her husband, Daniel. His grandchildren - Kenneth Keyes, Farren Keyes, Micaela Robinson, Amy Porter, and David Porter - and his great-grandchildren - Matias, Joaquin, Logan, Harrison, Charles, Kenneth, and Emily - will forever cherish his memory.
