Robin (Lanphear) Hoyt, 55, passed away on June 2, 2014, following a brief illness. She was the wife of Carlton L. Hoyt with whom she shared 24 years of Marriage. Born in Danvers on June 22, 1958, she was the only daughter and youngest child of the late William C. and Ida F. (Martin) Lanphear. She was raised and educated in Danvers, and graduated from Danvers High School in 1977. Her working career was spent as a caregiver, as a LCNA working at the Hogan Center, Heritage House, and The Greenery, all in Danvers. After health issues forced an early retirement, Robin continued to love and care for people and animals, doing what she could to help friends and animals in need. She especially enjoyed her vacations with Carl to exotic lands. She also loved her cats. She made many friends throughout her life and in the past several years had very special friends that helped her in many ways. For this she was always thankful. She is survived by her husband Carl, two stepchildren Carlton Hoyt, Jr. and Stacie Brown and her companion Michael Knapp of Seabrook; three brothers, William Lanphear and his wife Deborah of Lynn, Thomas Lanphear and his companion Kate Cullen of Danvers, Roger Lanphear and his wife Ann of Exeter, NH; two nephews, Roth Lanphear of Saratoga Springs, UT and Roger Lanphear of Exeter, NH, and two grandchildren, Kirk Brown III and Korey Brown. A celebration of life will be held graveside at 10AM on Sunday, June 22, 2014 in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Sylvan St., Danvers.
