Roger M. Moseson

Roger M. Moseson, 89, passed away on August 4, 2011 in Essex Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. He was the husband of Elaine (Olson) Moseson with whom he shared 64 years of marriage. Born in Fargo, North Dakota on July 14, 1922, he was the son of the late Halvor and Lorena (Loomis) Moseson. Roger served his country during World War II and was honorably discharged. He had been a resident of Danvers for over 30 years. Roger was employed as an engineer with Analog Devices in Wilmington. During his career he was awarded numerous patents in various areas including Radio Frequency Sputtering. He was a Mason in the Minnehaha Lodge No. 165 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Besides his wife, he is survived by a son Marshall Moseson and his wife Diann of Poland Spring, ME and a daughter Virginia Joan Moseson of Rochester, NY, a brother Robert Moseson of AL, a sister Evelyn Rand of N. Dakota and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Eugene Moseson. Funeral Services will be held in North Dakota. Arrangements can be attained through C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Roger’s name to a charity of one’s choice.
