  1. I will always remember with fondness Ruth’s friendship when I was a teenager (we worked together @ Almy’s Dept. Store in the early 1980s). I was a shy teenager & Ruth was always kind to me, we shared many laughs at work together! …over the years I enjoyed seeing Ruth around-town; we always caught up on Almy’s-news. My wife and I met Ruth downtown Danvers many months ago and we again “caught-up”; Ruth was smiling and happy, proud to tell me her current “age”. It was winter, I think, and I told her it was nice to see her out and about. She replied that she was like the ‘energizer bunny’! I’m thankful we were able to “catch-up” one last time. 2. Ruth has been a friend of our family since I was a little girl and I am so happy to have reconnected with her in the past several years. She was always a very classy lady and so much fun to know. I will miss her very much.
