Susan, Sandy and Jackie, My sympathies in the loss of your mother Ruth. Ruth had a huge impact on my life, she styled my hair from my earliest recollection, she was a wonderful person to work for when I was in Junior High School and High School. She gave me my first manicure when I married, she was first to cut my son’s hair! My mother and father kept the ritual of my mother’s weekly visit until he could no longer drive! Such warm friendships. Know I am thinking of you all, Ruth and your father Ken on May 4th,… I often think of those great old days. Sincerely, Trish
Our troop adopted Ruth as our “Senior Girl Scout” and enjoyed inviting her to many events over the years to share her stories and love of Girl Scouting. We were so grateful to be able to recognize her once again on Girl Scout Sunday this past March at the Congregational Church of Topsfield. The congregation also misses her steady presence in her favorite church pew with John and Doug.
