Sally (Brown) Morrissey

Sally Brown Morrissey, born May 28, 1927, passed away at Beverly Hospital on Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010 after a lengthy illness. She was the daughter of the late Ethel Hamlin Brown and Paul Lee Brown. She was a lifelong resident of Danvers. After graduating from Danvers High School, she was employed as a bookkeeper at Danvers State Hospital and then for Wynde-McCormick. She was an avid skier and gardener and was a member of The Penguin Ski Club as well as a member of the Danvers Garden Club. She was a Eucharistic minister for a number of years at St. Mary of the Annunciation Church in Danvers. She is predeceased by her twin brothers, David and Paul; and brother, Wilmer. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Lola Brown of Melbourne, Fla. and Bridgewater, N.H.; David and Judy Brown of Gorham, Maine; their daughters, Carrie Ann of Salem, and Kristen Mary of Wilmington, N.C.; James and Kass Brown of Derry, N.H., and their children, Jessica (Brown) and Matthew Cawley of Candia, N.H. and James M. Brown of Derry, N.H.; Denyse Brown of Palmer, Alaska, and her sons, Mark Bergeron of Derry, N.H., and Christopher Bergeron of Palmer, Alaska; Paul Jay Brown of Salem; Carol "Pixie" and George Noyes of Cape Coral, Fla.; their children, Shawn and Tara Noyes of Peabody, and Amanda and Anthony Reading of Barrington, N.H. In addition, she is survived by five great-grandnieces and a nephew, Allison, Sabrina, Kimberly, Nicole and Paul Reading. She is also survived by numerous cousins and their children. ARRANGEMENTS: A Mass of Christian burial will be held in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Sally's name to North Shore Elder Services, 152 Sylvan St., Danvers, MA 01923.
