SKOWHEGAN, ME- Sue Nguyen, 51, passed away on May 9, 2022, in Redington Fairview General Hospital in Skowhegan following a brief illness. Born in Vietnam on July 10, 1970, she had moved to the United Sates on her own at the age of 18. Sue had lived in the Everett area for several years prior to moving to Skowhegan. While in Maine, she owned and operated Suzy’s Nail Salon for many years. Sue enjoyed traveling, hiking, camping. She loved being outdoors. She is survived by two sons, Richard Nguyen of Danvers and Jeremy Nguyen of Skowhegan, ME and many friends and extended family. Her Funeral Services will be held at 11:30AM on Saturday, May 14, 2022, at C.R. Lyons & Sons, 28 Elm St., Danvers. Visitation will be held in the funeral home prior to the service from 10AM-11:30AM. Relatives and friends are invited.

  2. Such a kind, caring, and friendly lady. I was one of her clients for 10 years.
    We enjoyed many years of friendship, sharing stories about our lives, discussing world problems and trusting each other always. Her sense of humor and her special laugh was always a focal part of each visit to her salon. I used call her the best foot doctor I had ever had. She cared about the needs/health of each client. She always let me enjoy the pedicure chair 15 minutes before she began the service. Her artistic designs on my nails were often the talk of m friends. Suzy was self-made professions. She was so proud of her sons and their many academic achievements. No one enjoyed the beauty of the outdoors and she always shared her beautiful photos with me. I close my eyes and her

  3. I met Sue during her journey with Cancer. She told me the story of her life coming to the USA and what a proud woman she had become. she loved her family, friends, her business. she fought so hard. it is my pleasure to have met Sue. I am so sorry for the loss of your mom. Red
